PointGrab Sensors - Network Usage

At a high level, network traffic is relatively lightweight. As a general estimate, you can expect approximately 1KB per minute per Area of Interest (AoI), depending on configuration and use case.A Quick Overview:MetricTypical MessageConservative Estimate (Recommended)Size per Message~250 Bytes~1,000 Bytes (1 KB)Usage per Hour~15 KB60 KBUsage per Day~360 KB1.44 MBUsage per Month~10.8 MB43.2 MBA few further points to help provide context...Data transmission varies depending on the type of data being captured (e.g. simple counts vs. more detailed positional data such as XY coordinates).Traffic is calculated per AoI rather than per sensor, meaning a desk-level deployment (with more granular tracking) will typically generate more data than a meeting room setup.Stitching or higher-resolution use cases (e.g. frequent XY updates) will result in slightly higher traffic volumes.During initial deployment and commissioning, network activity may be temporarily higher due to configuration, validation, and testing processes.Firmware updates occur infrequently (typically 1–2 times per year) and will generate higher traffic during those periods, but these are planned and coordinated in advance.Outside of these scenarios, sensors operate with consistent, low-bandwidth communication. In practice, message sizes can be smaller (circa 250 bytes), but we recommend using the ~1KB per minute per AoI estimate as a conservative baseline for planning purposes.

GoBright View - Windows Installation

This guide will help you get your digitial signage (View) installed and running on your Windows machine. 1. Download the GoBright View software from https://install.gobright.cloud/view/windows/.2. Create a folder on C:\ named 'gobright-view', and in that folder, create a folder called 'bootstrapper'. Do not use any quotes. For example:3. Find the Zipfile you've downloaded, and unzip it completely, all folders and files. Find the unzipped folder in the download called ‘bootstrapper’ and place all its content within the bootstrapper file at C:\gobright-view\bootstrapper. This folder should now look like this:4. Create a shortcut from the application file in the bootstrapper folder on C:\ and place it on the desktop.5. Place the original downloaded Zip file in C:\gobright-view\ (make sure it is still zipped) and rename it to ‘update’.Now C:\gobright-view\ should look like this:6. Close all open programs like browser, Windows Explorer, etc.7. Rightclick on the bootstrapper shortcut on your desktop and choose the option: ‘Run as administrator’.Key Information:The limit per file for digital signage is 4GB. Supported File Formats:Windows:JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, MP4WebOS & Android:JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, SVG, MP4Supported Video Codecs:H.264/AVC, MPEG-4For more information on supported file formats, please review this article:https://support.gobright.com/hc/en-us/articles/360015249459-Media-files

On your GoBright portal, head to Settings > Devices and select Profiles on the left-hand menu2) If there isn't a profile already set up for Interacts, add a new one. 3) Give the profile an appropriate name and change the Type to Interact from the drop-down4) Under the Device section, select the relevant requirement from the 3 options. Once you are happy with all the information, hit save5)  Select Interacts on the left-hand menu and select the relevant Interact to update. Under the Setup Settings you will find a Desk Actuator field. Update this to the actuator the desk uses, e.g. Linak.
