Here's a simple guide to factory resetting your GoBright Interact.With a small screwdriver or a paperclip you can press the reset button for 5-10 seconds.Let the device fully reboot. You'll then need the GoBright app to scan the QR code shown on screen and link the Interact to the relevant desk / room.The GoBright app is available for free on both Apple and Android devices. Just check out your relevant app store and search for 'GoBright'.

Information correct as of the 16th of September 2024In September, GoBright introduced a new feature called 'Early Presence Confirmation'.For example, if you make a booking on a Monday for the upcoming Friday, your portal can now be configured to prompt the user up to 48 hours before the booking is due to confirm that they still need to use that space. Key Points:This feature is currently only available for desks and parking​This is not currently available for rooms​Maximum notification is 48 hours​ before the booking is due to startBookings are automatically canceled if no action is taken​ from the email / push notificationThis is disabled by default and must be switched on. Speak to our tech team or your account manager if you would like us to set this up for youSignificantly increases efficiency of resources for your business The ProcessYou will get an email during the predefined time.For example: If you select 'Yes, I will attend', you will be directed to the GoBright portal: If you select 'No, delete it' you will still be directed to the GoBright portal: Example of a push notification from the GoBright app:If you take no action (ignore the email / push notification), the booking will be automatically canceled and the person who made the booking will receive an email.This means that space will be freed up for someone else to book. This is particularly useful for people who have reoccurring bookings but might be off sick / on annual leave etc. Share This

GoBright updated their hygienic mode feature.This was first introduced during COVID-19, and, if enabled, it requires a desk to be cleaned after every use. The Connect & Glow would turn purple until a card was swiped or if the desk was updated in the portal.However, it is now possible to highlight the desk as required to be cleaned at the end of every day instead of after every check-in. This is configured in the profile attached to the desk.Head to Settings > Work > Profiles and select the profile linked to the desk(s) you wish to enable this for.You can configure your profile from here, depending on your preferences. Here is an example of setting the desk as required to be cleaned at 5pm every day:Please note: If this feature is enabled, the Connect will not turn off outside of office hours until it has been marked as clean.This feature is also supported for the Interact.

The XDS-1588 and XDS-1588-A cannot exceed Android 7.1. In GoBright, you can already book a desk / parking space on behalf of a colleague. However, since July 2025, you can now do the same for rooms within the GoBright portal. This was previously  only available via Outlook. There is now an all-in-one solution within the GoBright portal.✔ Fully integrated within the portal✔ Free✔ Don't need to leave Teams or switch between apps (if you have the add-on)The StepsOn the main dashboard (Meet-Work-Visit), head to Settings > Users > Roles.Scroll down until you see Other booking-related permissions.By default, this setting is disabled, so enable it:Make sure you save the changes at the top of the page. If you have multiple roles, carry out the above for the relevant role(s).Using the 4 squares in the top right, head to the Admin Centre.The user(s) account(s) will need to have the above role enabled for their account. Select the user.Scoll down to Meet-Work-Visit and then Roles. On the drop-down, ensure the role(s) you updated above are selected for the relevant user(s). Now that the role(s) has been updated, we can book the room on behalf of a colleague. The example below shows that I booked a meeting room for my colleague Alex.This is then put in Alex's calendar with the above information. 

If you are installing an Interact on your site but do not want it to be free-standing on a desk, there are other options available.Under Desk MountProduct Code: INT1-MOUNT-DESKInfo: Optional extraIt's possible to mount the Interact so it's fixed under a desk. The design of the bracket means you can easily slide the Interact device in / out if required.
